How to Prevent System Color Changes

💡 In Android 12 or newer, your system UI colors (notification shade, volume controls, quick settings toggles, and widgets) automatically sample and adopt colors from your applied wallpaper.
When a wallpaper is set, Android extracts a dynamic palette and propagates it across system components. If you prefer neutral or static colors across your device, follow the instructions for your phone brand below:
On Google Pixel, Motorola & Pure Android

Long-press any empty space on your home screen and select Wallpaper & style.

Below the preview, switch from the "Wallpaper colors" tab to the Basic colors tab.

Select a solid color (such as neutral gray, classic blue, or green).

Your quick settings and volume sliders will now remain locked to this choice, regardless of what wallpaper you apply in Kuxel.
On Samsung Galaxy Devices (One UI)

Open Settings on your Samsung Galaxy device.

Navigate to Wallpaper and style → Color palette.

You have two choices:
- Option A: Turn off the master "Color palette" switch to restore Samsung's default theme.
- Option B: Switch to the "Basic colors" tab and pick a permanent solid tone.

Tap Apply to save your preferences.
On Xiaomi, Redmi & POCO (HyperOS / MIUI)

Go to Settings → Wallpaper & personalization (or Themes).

Under Color scheme or System theme, choose the Classic preset to keep colors static.
